Εmergency First Response at Work (Great Britain) courses comply with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) directions in order to meet the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This program meets the statutory needs of employers in Europe and UK needing at least one First Aider on the premises.
Further more, according to the Cyprus (05/15/2009) and the Greek (28/05/2010) legislation, the employer shall undertake the obligation to provide his employees with a valid first aid training.
According to the legislation, the first aid training in the workplace is provided exclusively by accredited training providers or certified first aid instructors under the auspices of approved organizations.
Εmergency First Response at work instructor training program is independent training and certification processes so companies have the opportunity to teach approved first aid programs in the workplaces and renew every two years lowering their expenses for training.
During the Instructor training some of the modules are: Legislation – obligations of employers and workers, good presence of the instructor in the class, trainees group management, methods of presentation and demonstration of first aid objects, teaching and course evaluation , use of materials and training mannequins.
Instructors are trained on conducting examinations of participants, the methods of written and practical tests for evaluating the learners, and the use of management and application forms used in the Εmergency First Response system.
Upon successful completion of the theoretical, practical and written examination, instructor candidates will receive a certificate as well as the authorization to teach and assess the following approved training programs:
